Sketching Chester, CT

A couple of week ends ago I led a day long sketching event in Chester, CT  We began the morning with a materials demo, then a sketching demo at the farmers market. Everyone then had time to sketch in the market for a couple of hours before we gathered for lunch.

The market provided a dizzying amount of subjects, along with so many brilliant colors, textures and delicious aromas.


Retreating to the cool, calm quiet of nature at Chester Creek in the afternoon was a welcome change.
